Ember

Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 August 2026

These terms are written in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email [email protected] and you'll get an answer from the person who built the product.

Who you're dealing with

Ember is built and operated by Handy Gunawan, a sole trader based in Indonesia ("we", "us"). Ember lives at ember.anyeads.com.

What Ember is

Ember is software for coaches: you build and send questionnaires (intake forms, check-ins, and similar), your clients fill them through a private link without needing an account, and Ember shows you what came back and what stands out. Ember is a tool for organising your coaching practice — it is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care.

Your account

You can try Ember without an account — everything then lives only in your browser. With an account (email + password, or Google), your workspace syncs so your forms and links work across devices. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.

Plans and prices

Prices may change; if they do, existing subscribers are told in advance and changes apply from the next billing period.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders — Paddle provides customer-service enquiries for payments and handles returns. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. We never see or store your card details.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time — your plan simply doesn't renew, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by our refund policy (short version: 14 days, no interrogation).

Your data is yours

The forms you build, the people you add, and the answers your clients give belong to you and them — not to us. We host them so the product works; we don't sell them, mine them for advertising, or use them to train AI. Details live in the privacy policy. You can export your data from the app, and deleting your account deletes your data.

Fair use

Don't use Ember to spam people, to collect data from someone without their knowledge, to break the law, or to probe or disrupt the service. We can suspend accounts that do; where reasonable we'll warn you first.

Honest limits

Ember is provided "as is". We work to keep it fast, safe, and available, but we can't promise zero downtime or zero bugs. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be waived.

Changes

Ember is young and improves in the open, so these terms will evolve. Real changes get announced (email or in-app note), not buried. The "last updated" date above always tells you the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
